Our Vision

We are changing the way the restaurant industry does business in Chicago. We deeply care for our people and our guests because their collective stories are our most valuable asset.

Our Purpose

To fill up the cups and souls of others while on a journey to be the best version of ourselves.

 Our Core Values

  • Passionate Self-Development: We believe we are meant to be more and do more.

  • Grace & Kindness: We believe that choosing kindness and grace always generates the best outcome.

  • Personal Responsibility: We believe that individual commitment always comes before growth and success.

  • Pride & Ownership: We believe in doing great work, especially on the hard days.

  • Optimism & Joy: We believe that the best is yet to come. In the meantime, we have a lot of fun and celebrate often.

  • Hustle: We believe that good things happen to those that hustle.

 Meet Steve Silich

Steve Silich

Steve Silich, Owner/Operator

Steve is the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Loyola Water Tower. Steve, the son of a nurse and a Chicago police officer, was born and raised on the north side of Chicago. After college at Marquette University, Steve began his career in the Chicago Police Department, quickly becoming one of the youngest Sergeants in the toughest district in the city. Steve’s pride and love for everything Chicago is unmatched — from the neighborhoods to our sports teams, he is Chicago’s #1 fan. After 12 years as a cop, he left his badge behind to join the chicken business where he served for 12 years in a variety of different leadership roles. He began his chicken journey in the kitchen, where he served as a trainer. Over the years his passion for the business side emerged and he moved through several roles, including finance, facilities and the business management side. He has a huge heart for our team members and is determined to help them reach their goals and dreams, even if that means tough conversations and pushing them toward paths they never thought possible. Outside of work, Steve enjoys playing golf, volunteering at his church, Cubs games and spending as much time as possible with his wife Lauren and his children Lily and Ricky. Steve strives to be known as a man of integrity who has his priorities straight and works to help fellow husbands, dads and sons to do the same.
